Salmon 2025 out of Half Moon Bay: a photo from a friend, September 2025

In late September 2025, Capt. Scott Dipman shared a photo on the Fish Reapers Sportfishing Instagram with a caption that gives credit where it is due: a friend sent me this, salmon 2025.

The picture shows a dark sportfishing boat sitting on choppy gray water with its outriggers and rods set, and the coastal hills rise in the background.

Salmon is one of the main trips at Fish Reapers. The Salmon trip runs 8 hours from Pillar Point Harbor on Scott's 31-foot North River, and the boat carries up to six guests.

The post does not mention how the fishing went that day, so this report does not either. It is simply a picture from a friend, from the 2025 salmon season.
