Crabs on the boat out of Half Moon Bay, November 2025

On November 6, 2025, Capt. Scott Dipman posted a video to the Fish Reapers Sportfishing Instagram with a caption of just a few words: got crabs, followed by a crab emoji.

The still from the video was taken on deck. Crab pots and coiled line are stacked up on the boat, with a red bin and a blue bag sitting in the corner. It is a working deck, which is what a crab day looks like.

Fish Reapers fishes out of Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay on a 31-foot North River with a Seakeeper stabilizer. Crab is on the charter menu in two forms: a half-day trip of 4 hours, and an 8-hour Crab Combo that adds rockfish, lingcod and halibut.

The post does not say how many crab came aboard or what the crew did with them, so this report stops where the post does. There were crabs on the boat, and that is the whole post.
